Back when newspapers where made out of paper, there were two things we would immediately go to upon getting the paper.
The comics and The Parade Magazine insert because of the “Ask Marylin” column. It was fantastic the advice she would give on all sorts of problems.

For those that are not familiar, Marilyn vos Savant was listed as having the highest recorded intelligence quotient (IQ) in the Guinness Book of Records, a competitive category the publication has since retired.
Since 1986, she has written "Ask Marilyn", a Parade magazine Sunday column where she solves puzzles and answers questions on various subjects.

Now we recognize that even though collectively we MIGHT add up to her IQ, we are good at problem solving. With that spirit in mind and our desire to add value, this is a way for you to submit business problems to us and see if we can at least direct you in a good path if not help you solve them. As well as help you become a better (Black Belt) problem solver.

Remember: Don’t think there is “THE PROBLEM” and “THE SOLUTION”. Problems have many root causes and have many solutions. It is your job to identify the root causes and develop the best solutions. These could be influenced by cost, expediency, simplicity, skill-set, and many other factors. But there will be plural, solutions, to pick from.  Don’t forget the four dimensions we will focus on (People, Processes, Systems, Data).

Its like having your own dedicated
Master Black Belt in the team!
