In this site we will give you the tools, techniques, and methodologies to attack problems using four dimensions. We live in four dimensions, Length, width, height, and time. Nothing we see happens outside of them. Three are distances, one is time imposed on the distances.
Likewise when it comes to problems, the four dimensions we will look at are Processes, Systems, People, and Data. Where data will be imposed on the other three and illuminate them.

What are Problems?
You've heard it!
Problems are opportunities, they are obstacles, they grow you. Whatever does not kill you makes you stronger, and on and on.
More important, lets understand them.
Not all problems are solved alike!
There are many types of problems.
Binary problems, which are solved or not solved.
There are problems of local optimum, which are improved incrementally.
There are complicated local vs. global optimum problems, which require innovative thinking
There are dancing landscape complex problems, that cannot be solved, only reacted to continuously

Why Black Belt? - Lean Six Sigma (LSS) is a process improvement/Problem Solving methodology that uses a belt system to demonstrate proficiency similar to the Martial Arts. As you progress in the knowledge and experience in LSS you move up in Belt color.
